Akaliro Investments Limited is a share-capital investment company founded in 2017 and legally incorporated in 2022, headquartered on Namugongo Sonde Road, Kampala, Uganda.
We were founded primarily to invest in environmental health and personal hygiene activities — covering all forms of cleaning, fumigation, human pest control, garbage and waste management, landscaping, and compound beautification. Over the years we have diversified into commercial farming (vegetables, coffee, cocoa, goat farming) and hospitality through our subsidiary, Baleties Spot Bar and Inn Limited, incorporated in June 2026 in Buikwe District.
Our major aim is to create jobs for skilled youth in Uganda. We are actively training young people with farming and environmental skills, instilling in them a sense of imaginative and innovative life skills that sustain them beyond employment.
To invest in environmental health and personal hygiene activities, provide quality cleaning, fumigation, landscaping, waste management, and farming services while empowering Uganda’s youth through training, skills development, and dignified employment.
By 2030, to be a leading diversified investment group with a strong presence in environmental services and commercial farming — recognized for creating over 500 jobs and positively impacting communities across Uganda and beyond.

Akaliro Investments was formally incorporated as a legal entity, cementing its position as a legitimate investment company serving clients across Uganda.
Entered commercial farming, growing onions, tomatoes, bananas, maize, and passion fruits. Also explored tilapia fish farming on Lake Victoria, gaining valuable agricultural experience.
Expanded farming into perennial crops including coffee and cocoa while continuing to develop irrigation solutions to address climate change challenges.
Incorporated Baleties Spot Bar and Inn Limited in Buikwe District in June 2026 — expanding into hospitality, events management, and home caretaking services.
Our ambitious 2030 goal: be a recognized environmental and farming group, with over 500 jobs created for youth, and commercial farming operations reaching global markets.

Skilled Labour: Most of our workers come from less-privileged backgrounds. We invest time and resources in training them — turning challenges into opportunities for community uplift.
Climate Change: Unpredictable weather has affected our farming activities. We are working toward strong water irrigation systems to manage seasonal fluctuations.
Capital Growth: We are actively seeking investment and funding to buy fertile land, plant fodder, fence farming areas, and purchase livestock — all to accelerate our growth and impact.
